Who we are

Escalé connects guests with the hotels that use it: booking, in-stay service requests and messaging the hotel. It is developed and operated by Ahmed Dawood (individual developer, Saudi Arabia). Contact: info@escalehotelsys.com.

What we collect

Account data (mobile number for code sign-in, name, email if you add one, preferred language); bookings and stays (hotel, dates, room, amounts); service requests, your notes, photos you choose to attach, and appointment times; messages with the hotel; online check-in identity details the hotel is legally required to collect, if you use it; your reviews; your device's notification token and technical crash information.

We do not collect your location or contacts, do not track you across other apps or websites, show no ads, and do not sell your data.

Why

To provide the service, send notifications about your bookings and requests, keep your account secure, and meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

The hotel you book or stay at (only what it needs to serve you); technical providers acting for us — hosting (servers in Germany), email delivery, SMS delivery, Apple/Google push notifications, and the payment gateway when you pay online (card data goes to the gateway directly; we never store it); authorities where legally required.

Retention

While your account exists. When you delete your account we erase your personal data (name, phone, email, identity details, photos) within 30 days; booking and financial records the law requires the hotel to keep — including the guest name in its stay register — remain with the hotel, as do your past requests, messages and reviews, no longer linked to your account.

Your rights

Access, correction and deletion. You can delete your account in the app: Account → Delete account, or by emailing info@escalehotelsys.com.

Security

Encrypted in transit (HTTPS), restricted access, each hotel's data isolated from others.

Age

Intended for users aged 18+.

International transfer

Our servers are currently in Germany; we process data in line with applicable data-protection law, including Saudi Arabia's PDPL.

Changes

Updates are posted here with a date; material changes are announced in the app.
